  • As a key subcontractor in a troubled UK Government programme, with matters in dispute between all parties, negotiated the enforcement of relief, compensation and exclusivity provisions thereby restoring the account to profitability (£100m).

  • Acted as Commercial lead for a challenge, under Public Procurement Regulations, of the disadvantageous novation of a prime contract. Settlement (negotiated with Cabinet Office) included direct guarantees from the relevant Government agency for £100m of project work.

  • Commercial lead for a subcontractor against a long-term strategy of the prime to drive down price and scope. Successfully maintained annual revenues of £160m through benchmarking and subsequently against allegations of non-performance which were successfully resolved through mediation.

  • Led the negotiation of a new business agreement, and subsequently resolved an early dispute driven by a gap in scope on the customer side, with a UK regulatory body (£80m).
